September YOUganda Newsletter

Thank you for remembering us in your prayers. We have faced a number of challenges lately, but your prayer covering is making a huge difference.

In addition to teaching at the mission school during the day, we are being invited out into the villages, meeting people who work with street boys, and learning about different ministry opportunities in the Mbale area.

Sunday afternoon we met a little boy named Moses who was abandoned by his birth mother, but later adopted by an American missionary. Moses is one of 14 Ugandan children this missionary has taken in. We are working to bring you this incredible story on an upcoming podcast.

Sunday evening we were invited to a girls Bible study. The girls were asking us questions about false prophets, active persecution, and under what conditions false teachers can cause them to lose their salvation.

This just shows that in Uganda the forces of evil do nothing to conceal themselves, and actively try to intimidate Christians. These girls said they are regularly verbally assaulted by schoolmates because they are interested in the God of the Bible. Your prayers are needed for these people!
